Ripoff fraudulent business

I was totally ripped off by MCI.

Before MCI, I used the regular $5 phone cards to make all my international calls, and this would give me 30 minutes, with a cost of 0.17c per minute. I was called by an MCI representative who offered me service which at first I declined. She finally convinced me that her rates were the best and even much better than 0.17c. She told me she could give me the rates for so much less than I was paying at the time, I then accepted.

Since then I got one bill which amounted to $1457.73 with a charge of $6.95 per minute for international and 2.49 for domestic calls. This is an outrage and highway robbery. I contacted customer service and they submitted my file for an investigation to be done.

After not receiving any communication for almost a month, I called, only to be told that my request for a bill reduction was denied. I am not prepared to pay that this bill and have retained the services of an attorney, because it is clear that I am being ripped off, and maybe discriminated against.
