New York & Company
Used false advertising of sales and shipping rates and then couldn't even find my order, even though it was there when I logged into their website!

Shops, Products, Services

I placed an order online on Saturday 12/1 using a $25 off of $50 coupon code. The first problem I had was that I was charged $2 more in shipping than it was listed in the shipping chart. I later received an e-mail stating that there was an error when placing my order. I responded to numerous e-mails all week to aid the employees in finding my order. Alas, they couldn't. I was offered "deals" that did not add up to the coupon I used when I originally placed my order. I decided to try and place an order anyway. I reselected all of my items... Only the correct prices were not showing up.

I did not receive the advertised buy one get one half off pants, and the "free" lotion was charged at $8. I proceeded to dial the customer service number that was given to me 20 minutes ago by an employee thru email only to discover that operating hours were over.

So to sum it up:
1) They tried to rip me off with shipping prices.
2) They lost my order... Where did my credit card number go?
3) They could not find my order but apparently someone did because when I logged onto NY&Co it said the order had been cancelled (all week it said "order placed")
4) They tried to offer me codes for deals that did not match the original one
5) The correct prices were not coming up at checkout (charging full price for pants that should have been half off)
6) They tried charging me for an item that was free with purchase the date that I originally placed my order.

They need to get their company together!
