Deceptive Scam—Taking advantage of broke job seekers

About two months ago, I found myself in need of a new job. NSG puts ads on Craigslist, Career Builder, and other similar sites just like a first-party job listing—that's the first deceptive part, but I was willing to overlook that if they delivered. So I signed up for this program, costing about $100—which I certainly couldn't afford but I was looking at the big picture. They make lofty promises about great sales jobs with $60K base salaries and six figure potential.
$60 of the cost is this worthless sales strategy book that is "completely refundable". Guess what hasn't shown up in my mailbox? Anyway, that's not the main problem. I clearly spelled out to them that I had an Associate's degree and NOT a bachelor's—I'm working on my BS, but I'm not done yet. I made sure, in no uncertain terms, that I needed listings that only required an Associate's. Of course, they assured me that it wouldn't be a problem—they had thousands of listings at all education levels.
About two weeks after signing up, I called them because I hadn't gotten any referrals yet. Only then did they tell me I had to sign the form that they just kinda forgot to send me and mail it back. So I did this, and a week or so after that, I actually got some referrals.
Every single job posting required a bachelor's degree.
I called to complain, and they said they would "re-start my program" with the note about my education situation more clearly stated.in the following two weeks, I got a grand total of three more listings—you guessed it—all requiring a bachelor's degree. I called today to demand a refund, and they basically told me to go pound sand, and there was no way in hell I was getting a refund.
Whatever you do, do not do business with this company. They are predatory, unscrupulous, and take advantage of the hopes of the people who can least afford it.
