Refusing payment over the phone and by check, to entitle them to more money

I took a title loan out on my car with northwest title loans of post falls, idaho. Their interest rate is very high at over 300%/year, which they will not tell you on the phone. However, that is not a ripoff since when you inquire about the loan they tell you what your interest rate is.

The problem i have with this company is that they will not allow you to make a payment by check or over the telephone. The problem this creates is that you are charged daily for interest. Therefore, you are charged for a couple days interest if it takes you a couple days to get the payment to them.in my case, i have to drive far from my normal driving area to get there. They could easily step into the 21st century and accept payment over the phone with a cc, however they choose not to so that in hopes you forget to make the payment altogether, and then they can tack on other charges. It is a scam, just like the scams you see where you get signed up for a service just get something for free, but then you forget to cancel it in time, and a month later 4 checks bounced because "Viola Media" charges your account 20 bucks.
