Sop Story turns into a scam

A young man named Kevin Scott who worked for a manager named J. Meredith came to the door selling magazines in efforts to help him learn new skills and go to school to better his life. I knew better than to fall for it but he was so sincere in his effort. I ended up stroking a check for 170.00 and never received a magazine yet and it has been 7 months.

I tried to contact the company through email and phone and both lines were disconnected. If they come to your door don't fall for it. Tell them to get a real job. Never again will I help a poor soul I don't trust them.
