Rip off gives false confirmation numbers

I, too, was ripped out by creditreport.com. I canceled on my 19th day of membership, and apparently was given a false confirmation number. The first time I called the 800-720-4420 and waited over 30 minutes and no one answered. I then called the 800-355-1862 number and talked with an extremely rude representative named Porscha. She told me there was absolutely no record of me canceling on the 19th and asked for my confirmation number which she told me was invalid. Apparently they are giving out invalid confirmation numbers when you cancel. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she got rude, told me that I "could not" and hung up on my face. I called back this morning, finally talked with a supervisor named Jerry, and he could not do anything. He was also rude (big surprise) and raising his voice. He told me my confirmation was invalid and without a valid confirmation number no refund could be done. I told him it is the customer representative's fault because he gave me an invalid confirmation number, but the supervisor said there was nothing wrong with the representative and that I was LYING. I called my bank to file a dispute and am waiting to here from them. I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. STAY AWAY from this company. They are fraudulent. I WILL get my refund and everyone else that has been ripped out should fight for it too. I will depend my bank help me with Federal Regulation E.
