Make them pay for what they did

Jane, a friend suggested that I get credit counseling. One of the companies that I was looking at using was Family Credit Counseling. Because I have gotten burnt in the past, I decided to do some research before going forward with them.

Thank God I did because I came across your post here on Usa Consumer Complaints.com. If everything you say is true, this is really sad because like me, people that seek out these kinds of companies do so because they are in desperate need of help. Were not bad people; life happens and with kids and all the different financial responsibilities sometimes its easy to get overwhelmed and get in over your head with credit card debt. This is the point where one then seeks out help from these companies just like I am doing.

If it really is true that someone out there is preying on people that are at a point in life where they are most desperate and vulnerable as you have described, then not only is it despicable but it should be criminal. This guy is living large off of people who in many instances are in so deep they can barely eat a good meal. It makes me sick.

Someone needs to hold these people accountable for their actions. I looked into this further and found out that these people are being investigated by the Florida Attorney Generals office. Apparently, not only do they deal with their customers unethically but they also do so with their vendors. I also found out that a software company filed a copyright infringement suit against them.

To steal a quote evil men prevail when good men stand aside and do nothing. These people should not be in business preying on desperate innocent people while they are living like kings. If enough people stand up against these types of people we can hold them accountable for their actions.

I found the acts of this man in your story to be so reprehensible and vile that I took it upon myself to furnish anyone out there that has been wronged by this company with information to file a complaint with the Florida Attorney Generals office. Just follow the link to fill out the form. I imagine that if enough people complain about them then something serious has to be done.

Also, if there are any past employees of these people out there like you Jane, I got the information on the attorney that is suing them. Maybe you and some of your former co-workers have information about the software that would help in that case. I got the software companys attorney contact information from the complaint.
