Ronnie Moore, Top Dog Breeding Has not returned a two-hundred dollar deposit that was placed 14 months ago on a future puppy from a litter that has not occurred

Around June I called Mr. Ronnie Moore of Top Dog Breeding, and inquired about purchasing a Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy from a future Jo Babe X Meru litter. (There were other puppies available at that time, but my husband just wanted one from her and Meru.) I was told by Mr. Ronnie Moore that he would be breeding her to Meru when she came into season, and that she was seven years of age, and that "this" litter would be her last.

I then mailed Mr. Ronnie Moore a check in the amount of two-hundred ($200.00) dollars as a deposit for a puppy from that breeding. Mr. Ronnie Moore received the check, and it cleared the bank. As the months rolled by I was never informed of anything regarding the future litter unless I inquired myself.

When Jo Babe was supposedly due to have her puppies, I contacted Mr. Ronnie Moore, and asked if she had had her puppies. He then informed me that she had a false pregnancy. So I waited for her to come into season once more.

August Fourteen months later from the time I first inquired about purchasing a Jo Babe X Meru puppy-Jo Babe, who was around eight years of age still did not have any puppies. (Her age is based on the fact that Mr. Ronnie Moore told me that she was around seven years old, when I talked to him back in June.)

Due to this I contacted Mr. Ronnie Moore via e-mail, and informed him that I wanted the $200.00 deposit back. Mr. Ronnie Moore responded to my e-mail by asking if I would be interested in a puppy from another "pair"; as well as by asking if I would be interested in waiting to see if he could get her bred "next time".

Well, I responded by stating that I would just like to have the deposit returned, and he never responded nor sent the deposit back to me. Since then, (It is now October.) despite sending Mr. Ronnie Moore numerous e-mails regarding the deposit being returned, I have not heard from him.
