Mr. Fischer - You can't even believe these people

I placed an account with collection for wholesale apparel we shipped. The debtor did not pay the collection agency but sent a partial check to me which I then tried to cash. I advised Sterling of this. The check bounced. Shortly after I was contacted by an owner as she told me she was going to deliver twins and was in the hospital. I told her she needed to speak with Sterling and resolve this. She indicated that they were insane and were spying and threatening her and her family with all kinds of abusive actions. I told her it was out of my hands.

I did contact Sterling in good faith and updated them and confirmed she was in the hospital and purhaps they could get a better result knowing this information. Sterling said this was an interference and violation of there signed contract and they would now seek the collection fee from me even no no moneys was collected. I never made arrangements with debtor to get paid directly and always told them to deal with STerling.

Cut to the chase I now get threatening phone calls from lunatic collectors threatening all kinds of things. Anyone considering using this company as a debt recovery must consider this. They care not about gaining new customers and going after legitimate commerical debt. Once they think they can make a buck they do and say anything.
