Fraudulant, deceptive, and deceiving

I signed up for a "free" subscription with only a $2 dollar processing fee for Maxim magazine. Nothing else was said about any type of charges that would appear on my account. Well, 2 weeks later I check my account and there's a $39 charge from a company I have never even heard of. I did some investigating and stumbled across this website (after mindless hours pissed off trying to get a hold of someone instead of the useless automated 1-800 number that was provided with the charge). I'm disgusted at the fact that this could happen without my consent or authorization. I emailed my friends about this fraudulant magazine and I hope for other's sake that they stumble across this site. And whoever left the post about pressing the # button several times during the automated bs, kudos I was finally able to talk to a LIVE person. Only setback is they said I would be refunded my money in a couple BILLING CYCLES. That's total bs but it's better than nothing.
