Hidden Permission on Website ripoff

Evidently I went to a website called finalpayoff.com where I filled in my persomal information and sent it to get information regarding their program.
When completing this process I was also giving them permission to bill my phone company for internest voice mail (which I was unaware of this fact).
My phone bill showed up with a charge of $12.85. It has taken me two days to get this situation cleared up with both my local phone company and this other company - which by the way you are really speaking with someone in India. I did get it cancelled and the charges reversed - but I must warn people to be aware of what these internet websites are doing as far as charging people for things they may not be aware of.
