Misrepresentation of German Shepherd & Fraud Ripoff

I purchased a german shepherd named Shabba that was originally listed on Next Day Pets as being "show potential, champion bloodlines, and champion sired." The dog is also listed on his website as obedienced trained. I was verbally told the dog would be safe with my 4 year old "or we would not be having this concersation" as well as being housetrained. The dog is not champion sired. I received verrifiction from AKC.org that champion sired dogs have a "Ch." in front of their names. The sire does not. The dog is not housetrained or does not respond to obedience commands. The breeder, Lemmie (Skip) Ruffin initially charged $1,000 plus $450 for transportion to drive the dog to my home. While I agreed to purchase a kennel cage and leather leash, he also brought a 30 pound bad of dog food and 25 cans of food, 1 heartworm pill, and left an additional kennal cage at our home saying he woud return for it. HeE left no commands or instruactions for this specific dog and stayed approximate 2-3 hours before leaving. Within hours the dog was growling at my husband. Over the next few days, he growled and snapped at my husband again, growled and snapped at me, and actually bite my 77 year old mother. We then decided to bring in a certified pet evaluator who deemed this dog dangerous (this was after he lunged and showed all of his teeth at her among other thing). I have also spoken to a professional New York breeder and trainer of Schutzhund who also said this dog is dangerous. A very nice group who desparately tried to save the lives of german shepherds has told us we may have to have the dog put to sleep because of his danger and confusion.in addition, the breder charged an additional $716 to my credit card (I'm assuming for the kennel cage and leash which is grossly inflated). When I emailed several times, he finally responded after two days saying he had mailed a copy of the itemizations by regular mail because email was not secure but would email them if I wanted. I emailed immeidately and requested he email the itemizations. I have yet to receive the itemizations by regular mail or email.in addition he has not responded to email pr phone calls asking him to remove the dog from my premises. I even gave him a deadline in email and on voicemail with no response. This dog was mirepresented and this man tried to charge a grossly inflated secondary charge. I had to put a freeze on my credit card and dispute all charges. I still have not heard from him. BEWARE! I have been told by two experts these dogs are not properly trained or socialized. Also, the dog apparently only had a rabies shot and no other immunizations. We were told the dog had been sold before but the other peope returned him because they could not keep him in their apartment. The dog has never been registered to anyone else except the breeder and it appears perhaps the other buyer may have had the same problems we have and returned the dog before registering him. We plan to file a complaint and copy of the report from the certified pet evaluator iwth the Alabama State Attroney. I'm surprised no one has been seriously hurt or killed. I think it is only a matter of time.
