Certegy
Ripoff I will not shop at a store that I know uses their services

I went to Big Lots to shop there. When I gave them a check for my purchases the clerk went to the phone and was on their about 15 mins.

She came back and said my check was declined and gave me a card from Certegy with a code 2. Not enough information.

I was appalled. I have never had a check declined. I knew I had money in the bank. I called my bank and they said it was all still there. Said some one may have had a name similiar to mine or a similiar account number at another bank.

When I looked at the card I could see Certegy requested lots of my personal info when calling including all of my banking info.

I have learned a lot reading reports of others being ripped off here and knew there was no way I was going to call them and give them my personal info.

I went accross the street to Staples and purchased the same items there and they gladly accepted my check.

I then emailed Big Lots and told them I would never shop there again dealing with a corrupt company like Certegy. I am glad I found out so I know not to shop there.
