AFFORDABLE SHIPPING SERVICES LLC Delivery Deceptive/Fraud/Run Around for 2 Months for car I shipped thru the Company (Affordable Shipping Services llc) Ripoff

My Business Partner here in Houston shipped a car through this company (Affordable Shipping Services LLC) to Nigeria for almost 2 months now, the said car hasn't been delivered to the owner who bought the car and there is no concrete proof that the car is at the port of the final destination and is being cleared from the Nigerian customs. There has been consistent change of delivery date by the said company - (Affordable Shipping Services LLC); the delivery date has been changed more than 5 times. The necessary payment has all been paid in full to this company and still they are yet to deliver the said car.

We did inquire from other shipping firms how long it takes to ship cars to Nigeria and clear it from the Nigerian customs, they said it takes about 5-7 working days and this company's more than 4-weeks now and still the car has not been delivered. We have spoken with the owner (Mr Benjamin E. Mbonu) of the said company - (Affordable Shipping Services LLC) to give us the documentation showing that the car got to Nigeria and is being cleared from the Nigerian customs, he has refused to give us any documentation.

On further research, we found out that the owner of the business Benjamin E Mbonu, who was a practicing lawyer here in Houston, was suspended from the bar in 2006 due to involvement in some fraudulent activities. With this recent finding, My partner and I are very skeptical about our business transaction with the said company. We at this point, we feel that we might have been victims of fraud. We do appeal to your office to investigate this company and make sure that there are no future victims. At the moment, we have our fingers crossed and hope to resolve this case amicably with no party being a victim of fraud. They have cause alot of heart disstress and the third party involved.
