Ripped off, scammed, bamboozled. New York, Internet

Be very aware if you find yourself in need of a prepaid debit card. I bought a card at CVS in Deer Park, put $40 into it at the register. When i got home I realized the card had no money on it. I went back to CVS and was told that they do not handle refunds on prepaid debit cards, that I would have to file a complaint with greendot directly.in all, it will cost me much more than forty dollars worth of my time to get this straightened out, if I ever do get my money back. I will obviously never again resort to buying a GreenDot prepaid card, and hold CVS partly responsible because they are the ones who failed somehow to credit my card and would not refund the money.
