"Grants" Only Disappointment and a Smaller Bank Balance ripoff

12/08/06 - I made a PayPal payment to Freeport Consulting. I filled out an online form with information that could be used to determine my eligibility for various government grants. This information was to be compiled into several grant applications and submitted to the respective agencies by Freeport Consulting on my behalf.
The entire process from initial application to grant payment receipt (s) was to be no more than nine weeks. To this date, even after repeated emails, I have received nothing but a $75 withdrawal from my PayPal account and an automated email in response to the many emails I have initiated.
This company totally ripped me off. If anyone else had a positive experience, or even more unbelievably, received actual grant pay outs because of them - I would be TOTALLY surprised. I'm really glad I didn't make a larger investment. Still, I'm very upset. My mother has medical issues, I have debt issues, and I had a plan for that money that would have helped us both immensely.
Be careful where you spend your $75!! Buy something with it that can actually be useful to you.
