Paid Money for Shoes that I Never Received

I paid for a pair of sneakers off this website on July 3, received an order confirmation receipt by e-mail on July 3 as well. On the e-mailed receipt it even stated that my order will ship in 4 to 7 business days.

I made a size change request, and I was e-mailed by admin@thesneakerland.com that my size change request was processed on July 6, so my order should have still shipped in 4 TO 7 BUSINESS DAYS from July 6.

On July 19, I e-mailed the address from the site admin@thesneakerland.com to find out what the hell is going on, and I got a response back stating that I will receive notification once my order has been fulfilled. "FULFILLED" means "PROCESSED", so if my order was "PROCESSED" ON JULY 6 I would have received my sneakers by now. On July 21, I got a e-mail from admin@thesneakerland.com that my sneakers are on "back order" meaning "out of stock".

At the link, you can still pick out your shoe size, add the item to your cart, and go through the payment process as if the item is there.

If the sneakers are "on back order"/ "out of stock", then why can anyone still go through the payment process, and have their credit/debit card billed as if the item is there???

On any other website, if an item is "out of stock", you can't even go through the payment process, therefore you won't be paying for an item that's not there.

I sent admin@thesneakerland.com an e-mail asking for my money back. I have yet to know the outcome of that. I will be changing my account numbers as well, when and if I get my money back.

I will continue to plaster this story all over the internet to make everyone aware of their piss poor business ethics.

... They don't even have a physical address or telephone number.
