Montgomery gray & associates / stewart palmer scammed and defrauded me out of $6000. Lied about corporate history, did not deliver on any promises

Montgomery, gray & associates, coral springs, fl., scammed and defrauded me out of $6,000!

I was contacted by Montgomery, Gray because my resume was on the internet. They set an appointment for me to meet the local salesman, Steve Chodos. I told him that I did not have the time or resources to conduct an effective job search and needed help establishing contacts with key business decision makers. Chodos assured me during his sales pitch, and later again, with my wife, that Montgomery, Gray had been helping people like me market themselves since 2000.

Register.com says that the Montgomery web site (mgacareers.com) was registered less than a year ago and that the parent company, Stewart Palmers site (stewartpalmer.net) was also registered one year ago.
Where were they for the 7 years they claim to have been helping people? A little research places Chodos and his boss Jeff Lewin as former employees of Bernard Haldane, a company that was prosecuted out of business by multiple state lawsuits, for consumer fraud. Usacomplaints.com has over 600 consumer complaints on Haldane. What they did to people is what Montgomery Gray did to me.

Chodos told us that all I would have to do is show up for the interviews and choose the job I wanted. He even baited me with a fake job opening that I fell for. The references all appeared to be fake too. I just wish I wasn't so desperate and believed the scam.

Here is what really happened.

I paid $6,000 for career management help. They promised me that THEY would do the work.

I had to write my own resume from their The Art of the Resume manual

I had to select random companies from a generic data base and pick names at random from the research that I was doing.

I had to write my own cover letter.

I had to print my own letters and resumes.

I had to stuff the envelopes and pay the postage.

I had to send out all my own marketing materials via my e-mail

I sent over 600 letters and have received ZERO responses and ZERO interviews.

The only thing they did for $6000 is prepare a cut and paste web site for me that I am sure that I am the only person that has ever seen it.

I was desperate for help and they took advantage of me and my family.

When I complained, I was told to relieve my stress and go on vacation
My vacation money is in Montgomery Grays bank account.

My second complaint to Jeff Lewin was 3 weeks ago and of course nothing has happened.

Beware of any company that finds you on the Internet and charges thousands of dollars, without any contacts or any direct representation to companies or executives.

These guys make used car salesmen look good!

Don't let them steal your families money too!
