Accomplishing NOTHING for an extra $200.00 to expedite. Lexington

In order to accept a position at a nationwide business I had to have a traffic violation removed/sealed. I paid $300.00 plus an additional 200.00 to have taken care of in 30 days. Being leary of the business I called in and spoke to a live human being and was assured that it would be taken care of in 30 days after about a 7 day period for EAS to send papers out to the courts to start the process.

7 weeks went by, the position was filled and several phone calls and emails went unreturned. I finally received an email responding to my question "What is going on in the process.?' the answer was "We are just about ready to get the papers... Etc etc..." nothing had been accomplished at all.

"It's been over two months, why is it taking so long" Oh, well it's 30days from when the papers are received (Not from when the paperwork is sent off as the first gentleman had said.)

Since nothing had been accomplished at all over ANY length of time; I requested a cancellation and refund seeing as the service is now not needed as the charge will fall of in October. The response was "I'll take your request to my superiors. "That was the LAST I heard of it 3 weeks ago. I emailed 3 times requesting status. Response "It was cancelled when you requested." No mention of a refund. Money exchanged hands for a servce rendered that had not even begun.

I'll wager that this is pretty commonplace practice given the clientele. People with an image that the legal system is out to get them and nothing can be done. Your upper Eschelon of people don't typically have to have anything sealed/expunged. Their poor business practices cost me $500.00 and a job due to broken promises and poor representation on behalf of their phone represenative.
