Poor customer service? How about NO customer service!

I found this company on the internet, ordered a sample packet and was impressed by it. The pricing was good so I decided to give them a try.

First of all, I have to be honest and say that I have had good results from this company. The quality of my orders were good and I had planned to use them for all of my future orders.

One of my clients wanted to order plastic business cards and magnets. I decided to use Printplace since they sold both products and I wanted to have some consistancy across both products. What I got back was terrible with the plastic business cards.

The person in the photo was wearing a bergundy shirt but the print was so dark it made all the reds look brown. The same file, just situated horizontally, was used for the magnet and looked great. No problems there.

So I put in a ticket to report the problem with the card order. I got no response other than an automated email. I've emailed with no response. I've called and left messages with no response. The ticket showed it was viewed but no one replied to me. I added a few other remarks after a couple of days but never got anything. I told the client to dispute the charge.

The cards are still sitting on my desk and after a month, I have not heard from PrintPlace. I checked the ticket today and it was deleted.

So, in general, PrintPlace did supply some good products for me, but based on the fact that they just ignored my trouble ticket and phone messages, I cannot recommend using them at this time. Which sucks because I thought I had a winner in this company.
