Harvey and arthur beech - ripoff refused hometime doctor appointment fraudulent abandon truck dac report illegal logs encouraged bad equipment trucks driven illegally intimidated threatened

This is being written because so many small trucking companies are ruining good drivers careers by fradulently putting bogus reports of abandoned trucks on their DAC reports!

I am one of these drivers who has been done very badly by a company in North Little Rock, Ar. I was informed over the telephone by the man who has partial ownership in this trucking company that I wasn't running enough miles and that it wasn't good enough that I wanted to run my 70hrs. A week and log it legally!

The first time this man refused my legal hometime I let it slide but when he refused my next hometime for an important Doctors Appointment and refused to repower the load that I was under at the time so I could go home for 1 day, I promptly drove the truck and loaded trailor to the place I originally picked up the truck from, which was a main terminal, cleaned out truck and informed him that I quit and the truck was in a secure location with the load.

Heard nothing from this company until I received my last paycheck thru the mail. Written on the check stub was "Quit & Abandoned Truck Under Load". As for my last payday, I received $65.08 out of $908.04!!

I know all of this might look like I should have just gone on and did what he wanted me to do and ignore the fact that he just totally ignored the fact that I ask for this one day home for the important Doctor's visit many days in advance but in reality, he had no right to decide whether I needed to see a Doctor or not!!!

So, now I have no last payday for my hard work that week, which he made double money from, and I now have all of this on my "previously clean" DAC report!

I would also like to add that everything said or done concerning this matter was written down on the Qualcomm in the truck!

It's really sad that as bad as Trucking Companies need safe and knowledgeable drivers that they have the power to completely stop your career as a driver with a phone call to DAC services, even when it isn't true and get away with it!!!

I am a 53yr. Old lady who thoroughly enjoyed driving and never had any bad things said against me as a driver until I started employment with this company. This man has his own small trucking company and leases his trucks to and from USX.

I do plan on fighting this until I have my DAC record clear again! Small companies like his should not be allowed to totally stop a good drivers career because she wouldn't abide by his totally heartless demands!
