Bad business with contracts on puppies Sanford florida

My boyfriend bought me the sweetest puppy for my birthday last year (August) and was promised he would receive UAB registration papers within 60 days. This dog was sick for the first 3 months that we had him and we was taking him to the vet that was appointed to take care of him with our warranty, he did not seem to get any better so we bit the bullet and started to pay out of our pocket to get him well. It still took us 2 more vets and months for him to show any improvement. That was bad enough but he had some very sad behaviors, (leary of others, hiding food everywhere, sick all the time, eating his own feces, hiding,) so many that I became concerned about and started to inquire, all symptoms pointed to him coming from a puppy mill which made me sad to think he might have gone thru such things.

Check out puppy mills online if you need to see what I am speaking of. We finally got him thru all of this thru our love for him but now, we cannot seem to get his papers. I have called and spoken with the owner who keeps putting me off by saying he will do this and that and get back with me. My boyfriend called again today 2x and again, the same thing. Finally he called them back and spoke with the owner "Jeremy" the same one who has repeatedly told me he would get the papers we "paid" for and is included in our contract. Jeremy not only told us that he is "not" UAB registered but in fact told me he cannot reach the breeders, because it goes to an unknown number (another sign of a puppy mill per online info) even tho he told me later in the conversation he spoke with them in MARCH. I guess they must have moved? I became upset with him trying "once" again to brush me off and he told me if I wanted to be that way he would do nothing for me. Is that customer service? NO, I don't think so. I did tell him he was going to be put on here and I will file small claims against him for not living up to the contract we got with our precious dog. I advised if he knows nothing about these dogs (as he said he does not per our phone conversation) he should not be giving out contracts stating certain things about them. I am happy with my poodle who was not supposed to get over 5 pounds and is about 10, but that is not my complaint,

My complaint is buying a dog with a contract that according to Jeremy, they know nothing about the breeders or parents of these dogs. It is sad to believe we entrusted buying an expensive dog and being treated like this. PLEASE, if anyone else has had this problem with this business, let me know on here. I feel like we have been givin the boot as far as that business/Jeremy (owner) is concerned.
