Top Relocation
Has horrible customer service & does not pick up your belongings ripoff

We had made our reservation and paid our deposit six weeks in advance; however, our planning ahead could have never prepared us for this disaster with Top Relocation. The customer service was horrible. They were rude and never followed through with their promises to call us back.

As a result, we would repeatedly call them, which they let us know how annoyed they were by our persistence. At one point, I was told by Leonora the manager of dispatch, that "you calling all the time isn't going to get things done any faster." This was the third day that we had been waiting, after we were "assured" that our stuff would be picked up the previous day. This was also after our lease had expired on our apartment. Our scheduled pick up date was 5/29/07; however, no one ever showed up to get our stuff that day or any other. We were told repeatedly that someone was "on their way, " which obviously was not true.

After their lack of customer service and follow through, we have missed work waiting for movers, losing over $500 in possible earnings, have had to plead with our landlords to allow us to remain in our old apartment until we can move (which we will of course have to pay for, in addition to our new apartment's rent) and now start all over again with planning our move. It is so frustrating to know that we could have been in our new place by now (which is a 23 hour drive from our old home); however, instead we are still in our old apartment with everything in boxes waiting for the UPACK truck to get dropped off 6/4 or 6/5.

Now we will have to load and unload everything ourselves and start new jobs before our belongings are even delivered to our new place. I am not sure how the people at Top Relocation can sleep at night knowing how they take advantage of innocent customers.

I hope that our awful experience with Top Relocation may prevent someone else from going through the same thing. I wish we had seen this website beforehand. It would have saved us from a lot of trouble and additional expenses.
