Ripoff Un Ethical and illegal Collection Practices by placing bank liens without service of documents against accounts he buys for pennies on the dolla

This attorney, placed a lien on my account for a judgement he claimed against me from a company that filed bankruptcy in 1989. Now in 2007 he places a lien on my account for 6 times the amount of the judgement (he I am sure purchased this debt for pennies on the dollar). This attorney serves no documents, which is illegal, never mind unethical, (as he is an officer of the court). However he has placed his collection business far and above his ability to stay within the letter of the law. I filed a "Notice to show cause" and like a good little scam attorney who collects money through fear and you hopefully not knowing the law, this law firm changes their tune. When you speak to them on the phone they use very belligerent tones, and are extremely intimidating. After they are served, they somehow seemed to find a lot of humility. It is not convenient for them to have to come into court and stand in front of a judge and explain themselves. If you get an envelope with this attorney's name on it. Take the time and file a "notice to show cause". Make them come into court and explain these items they are attempting to collect with strong arm tactics, placing liens on poor peoples rent and grocery money - most of these judgements will be over turned. Especially from companies that have filed chapter 11, or been paid on the debt long ago, like mine. Shame on you Allen Rosenthal.
