My husband and I had the opportunity to use their services in June. He was called in for an interview with their Vice President. He came home from the interview with a folder and some "homework" to do before his next interview. I had never seen anything like it before, the "homework" focused more on personal questions opposed to professional ones. They even had homework for me to do, which I thought was odd, but my husband had worked with other head hunters/recruiters/consulting agencies before where his agents would consult me on his career satisfaction, so I thought that this could be some new way of helping us attain satisfaction in his career. I did find it extremely odd that they wanted me to come in for his next interview. So we went to the second interview this time the VP had a gentleman with her that she was "training". We all discussed what he could do to improve in various areas of job hunting and employment negotiations. They then left us alone to read some stuff and then they came back with the hard sell and presented us with the figures (a little over $8,000) to use their services and left us alone again to discuss it. We disucussed it and agreed not to make any kind of commitment until we had had the chance to discuss it at home. The VP and her associate came back in and we had told them that we would consider it and see if it was financially feasible for us to commit to and get back with her by Monday of the next week. She assured us that she wouldn't call us if we did not call her and she hasn't. Upon returning home and scrutinizing the contract it stated that they would guarantee nothing in return for the money. So I began searching the internet for scam information I started with the BBB but had little luck there, luckily there is an organization called Bernard Haldane Watch that led me here. When my husband and I read the information on this site we were able to make an informed decsion not to use Bernard Haldane. AmberHilliard, Ohio
