Dishonest Thieves Help You Out Of Your Money With No Way To Get It Back! Ripoff

If you are reading this and are thinking about doing Business with Compact Vending Systems, Robert Ellis of James Long DON"T DO IT!

These guys flat out ripped me off for over $15,000.00 for what was supposed to be a purchase of 5 Vending Machines.

Pryor to my sending them the money they called me every other day or so to see how I was doing and what the time line was for me making my purchase.

After I got everything in place to make the purchase I contacted them again and was told that they had my Machines ready to ship and that they would be shipped within 10 to 15 days depending on the shippers schedule.

After one week went by I called then to see what the ETA of my machines were and got no answer.
I called every day for one week and kept getting the same think. The person answering the phone would just offer to take a message and have them call me.

My Wife called them today 2/26/07 and after offering to have our Attorney contact them she was told that the number we were calling was an answering service and that they haven't been able to contact Robert Ellis or James Long for over 2 weeks because the phone number that they had for them was disconnected!

She was even told that they didn't have an office at that location. When she asked why they haden't told us that before she got no answer.

We have contacted the FBI, the local Police and the Attorney General in Washington and Colorado States.

Pryor to my doing any business with them I checked here on Rip - Off-Report and didn't find anything.
Then after this started hapening I found a report on here but now it is gone. I don't know If Rip-Off-Reports took the report off or if they are just having server problems or what but if you search for it on here you get an error page.

It was from someone in California who got Ripped Off by these same guys.

I also checked the BBB and didn't find anything until this week.

I don't know what is going on with these guys but I do know the following.

Their phone numbers are located in four different States and all of them lead to different answering services. There is no physical office at the Denver address.

The locator service that they supposibly use in in Bosie Id and the Bank that they would have you wire money to is in Florida.

So if anyone out there has any more info that they would like to share I can use all the help I can get with this one!
I don't want anyone else getting ripped off like we did.
