I stopped service/still getting bills and disconnection notices

In November, I moved from the state of Texas to Florida. A week before the move, I contacted TXU to request discontinuation of service. I still receive bills and disconnection notices for failure to pay. I've been fighting this since the first part of December. Many, many phone calls and emails to no avail.

Last email I received on 2/7/07 from a representative who apologized for the inconvenience. She stated that she would be monitoring the development of the requests that she had put through to the appropriate departments.
Now, I'm waiting to see if I received any other notices.

Another thing that concerns me is whether TXU will inform the Florida energy company that I was a customer in good standing or not. This can make a difference of being charged $100.00 up front or having the fee waived from the Florida energy company.
