False / Misleading Job Description, Deceptive

I am a professional individual who owns and operates a business in the local area. Looking for alternative income I sought out Drive Marketing & Associates.

I asked twice for a specific job description from Mr. Bishop. I only got his "business philosophy" and him explaining the potential for new associates to achieve management. No focus on the true objectives. He seemed like a decent guy but I researched the background on Drive Marketing & Associates; both online and from other companies. I felt the business was shady.

They claim to have a solid background and a need for representatives to handle an abundance of clients on their waiting list.

After pushing the question a little harder later in the week before the second interviews he admitted it was a door to door sales matching the original description on their website which was very basic and unprofessional. They let their site drop back to their hosting service for over 3 days. Again very unprofessional. All of the interviewees I ran in to on the entry level interview were under 25-27 years old.

I have worked in professional media and marketing for 6 years and I even felt uncomfortable with this business. With Drive Marketing & Associates posting on every help wanted service in the state it became at least very suspicious. Just Google search "Drive Marketing & Associates".

I don't want to risk my investments and stable income for a company I cannot trust. If I see a problem I'll point it out. If I have a question I'll ask and if I have an opinion I'll share it.in my opinion based on what I have found, Drive Marketing & Associates are in a desperate need to increase sales and doing whatever they can to at least hold on if not expand.

If Mr. Bishop would have not told half truths and lied about Drive Marketing & Associates expanding overseas and having a solid background in the US, I might have considered offering my skills and abilities. Mr. Bishop claimed great success in the US and Canada. There is only 1 Drive Marketing & Associates and Mr. William Bishop is the sole owner. Don't lie! That's my number one rule in trust and that was broken after I invested my time in to researching Drive Marketing & Associates.

Just be careful and demand specific answers to any questions you may have in an interview. It will save you and the company you are prospecting valuable time.
