Refuse to pay subcontractors, provide terrible promotional services, and hire people from craigslist who have no idea what or who the do or represent Ripoff

The Rebel Organization is a facet of URB Magazine which was started by DJ and Promoter Raymond Roker. The Rebel Organization supposedly arranges gatherings and does promotions for events.

As a subcontractor, I was asked to work a job from Craigslist. I had no idea what to do or really who I represented and am surprised that the event came off as well as it did. I certainly would have been upset if I had been the person paying for the event and they hired people for a one-time shin-dig off of Craigslist without interviewing or even caring who you were.

Also, after turning in all of the paperwork for the event, payment has not been sent in 4 months, although the accounting department has claimed over the past 15 calls that they are sending checks.

I would not trust this company to be used to set-up events, manage events, or to pay you if you were to work for them. Avoid them at all costs.
