Deceptive Executive Recruite

Mr. Gregory (Greg) A. Beatty will call you and tell you he is an Executive Recruiter from Nashville, TN; explain that he is recruiting for a major (whatever) company and that he pulled your resume' off a job board (Monster.com, Careerbuilder.com, etc.) then proceed to give you a mini interview. After that, he tells you that he will submit your resume' to the company that he is recruiting for and should expect a call from a Mr./Mrs. XYZ on such and such day. That day comes and goes then when you try to call him back, he eiter doesn't answer or you get his voice mail which he will not return your call if you leave a message requesting him to do so. Speaking with the HR director with the company he claimed to me he was recruiting for, she indicated that she never heard of him. Guys like this are what makes a bad name for legitimate recruiters and I can see why many large companies are moving away from independent recruiters.
