P.S. Marston Associates aka Abenaqui Carriers Inc ripoff deceptive company sold a bill-of-goods in beginning very disfunctionally operated company North Hampton

P.S. Marston Assoc., a/k/a / "Abenaqui Carriers, Inc." proved themselves to be a "Want-To-Be" trucking company. A very positive scenario is presented in the beginning to try and lure new, unexpecting owner-operators into leasing on with them, stating how great the work environment is, and mostly, how much work they have.

Unfortunately, after 3-4 months of working with them, they started to show their true colors. Literally every owner-operator that works for them is starving for work and revenue, and Abenaqui states over and over that "it's just the way it is all over". Meanwhile, all the other bulk carriers in New England seem to be conducting business as usual.

Abenaqui doesn't have the customer base in place to warrant the amount of subcontractors, and makes very little effort to increase their customer list. Thus, everyone starves, having to distribute the work among the existing, established workers.

They also never pay for legitimate waiting time that would be recorded, even though they proudly stated how they did up front. Their local newspaper and on-line ads are always emphasizing how drivers will earn 47-50K per year, when in reality, most drivers are lucky to see 38-40K. (This info is based on statements from empolyed drivers of this company, not manufactured words.)
