Midwest Recovery Bureau - Dale Hedtke
Rip-off Dishonest BadBusiness Minnesota Fails to refund $200 "retainer" fee for services he never accomplished

Shops, Products, Services

Mr. Hedtke pressured us into buying his services to recover our stolen Jeep from a (in his words) very dangerous man.

He wanted $200 down and when he finds our vehicle it will be another $200 tow fees to get it back. Reasssurring us that the $200 he wanted to get started would be fully refunded had he not recover our jeep, we hired him.

3 months down the road I sent him letter asking his services come to a stop & we want our money back. No Response. So I called him and every time was a new excuse not to talk to me, or he would call me back. Never once did I recieve a call from this guy.

2 months later we get a letter from impound, we found our jeep. I sent Midwest Recovery Bureau a certified letter stating the facts and demanding our refund, the jerk never signed for the ltter, mind you his business address is a P.O. Box so I am sure it wouldn't have been an inconvience to get it. I then called Mr. Hedtke again to tell him we have our truck back (without any help from him) and we want our $ back. No he says I will split it with you. WHAT? I said, our agreement says nothing about spliting it with him.

Regaurdless he has still not sent us a dime and we are going to have sue him to get our money back.
