All we got about going with buy owner was the shaft! Ripoff

If you are considering listing your house with BUYOWNER... PLEASE READ!

We were inticted by the comercials, all the claims of savings thousands of dollars selling your home your self ect., only later to find out how true the old saying is, " When something sounds too good to be true, it is"

The advertising consultant said all the right things to reel us in and we made the mistake of signing the contract! How I wish we would have found this webite first, because we would have NEVER listed with this company. This has been the boggest mistake we have ever made!

When the listing first showed up on the internet of our home, it was ALL WRONG! It was falsly misrepresented! It stated that we had a three car garage (When we only have a 2 car garage) it also stated that we had a fireplace, (We DO NOT have a fireplace!) Not to mention the gourmet kitchen that WE DIDNT HAVE EITHER! I had to rewrite the whole advertisement myself to make sure there were no more screw ups in fear that if someone was interested in the property that we would not not be sued over false advertisent!

Needless to say I contacted the company infuriated at the incompetance of the marketing consultant that wrote the original advertisement on our home. (Which, thank GOD, I was smart enough to print out and keep as proof!

We have not recieved one inquiry about our property! Not one phone call, not one email... NADA! And the house has been for sale since July! With supposedly over one thousand matches to our property. And over three hundred views? Yeah right!

Listing with BuyOwner has been a nightmare and the biggest mistake we have ever made! You are better off listing with a reputable real estate agent. Dont be fooled by the commercials! Dont make the same mistake we and many others have made!
