Ripoff Added magazines to bags in store purchase and charged 4.00 each

I went with my senior mother to Catherine's clothing store in Decatur Monday Nov. 20. She purchased several items, totalling well over 100.00. The clerk was chatting away with her, as she's been a regular customer for years. The clerk was saying how she had worked there for 15 years. I thought her total was a little high when they rang it up, but thought little of it. We get back home, and she opens her packages to find they had added to her bag, and charged her for, two magazines at 4.00 each! My mother contacted the corporate office, only to be told if she drove the magazines back to the store and returned them she would receive a refund. This would be a one hour drive each way for her, on her time and expense for a fraudulent charge perpetrated by a Catherine's employee! Infuriating.
