Franklin Hills Nursing And Rehab Facility
Does not meet the needs of the residents!

My mother-in-law has lived with myself and her son until recently when she had an accident and fell, breaking her hip. We had her rushed to hospital by ambulance where she had surgery. We were then informed she would be going to rehab from there, they did put her in a facility close to us.

I have spoiled her so I walk up to the home and do her hair up pretty and gave her a sponge bath one time. I started noticing real bad scratches on her back and legs, I asked and was told she was scratching herself. I noticed she had a very strong horid odor about her so a dear friend came up there and we gave her a shower. When we took her pants off we noticed she had several small pressure sours. I then inquired as to when the staples would be removed and was told they had been the past week but while dressing her saw that they had forgot 3 staples whuch were becoming infected.

I asked what days are my moms bath days and they couldn't find outy when she had her lat shower and said oh thats ok we'll try to get to her tonite. They said it's hard for them to do any better they arse under-staffed.

My question is:

Why should the patients suffer for there lack to hire good staff?

Do they take more than 1 bath a month if so how would they feel if that were their family?
