CompareMaster
Made an unauthorized transaction withdrawl for $918.18!

Shops, Products, Services

Simply put, this company withdrew $918.18 from my bank account without my authorization. I have never heard of this company until 2 days ago, muchless do any business with them. When I contacted their customer support number, which I was able to obtain through my bank, I got a complete run around about how I had to have used a Pay-pal account or a credit card. Well I do have pay-pal but have not used it in a long time, and I DO NOT have a credit card.

The purchase was done with my debit card number. I calmly explained to the rep that debit cards CAN BE USED AS CREDIT CARDS. Especially when doing internet business! Sheesh! Anyhow, I asked if the purchase was something I would be recieving at my house and the answer was yes. I then asked if we could just reverse the transaction (you know - stop it). She put me on hold for a long time, came back on and told me the transaction would be stopped. That was yesterday. Today is a different day and as of yet I have not recieved my $ back. I make very little money, and for some jerk company to do this is very sad indeed!
