Unethical Business Practices - Fraudulent Billings Ripoff

I recieved a phone call from a Dee Kennedy asking to have her call returned& when no collections were due. She indicated that there was an outstanding bill of $1.168.76 for a magazine that had been ordered.

The order was cancelled within days, and the billing of $38.32 was being duducted from my son's credit card every two weeks. The bank intervened and the money was returned, and we thought the contract had been recinded. However, now we start with part two of the process and this business feels that they continue to have a valid contract even knowing that their contract does not clearly spell out the terms and conditions of their contract, no confirmation letter is recieved, nor are any of these magazines that they claim to have sent.

As I am looking at this site, I see a note dated 4/18/06 with the identical situation being described by someone in New Hampshire. This is obviously a common practice of this company to say that you owe money, but not bill is recieved, no magazine is recieved, but they want the money!

I have since contacted the Attorney General of Florida,

They have recieved numerous calls regarding this company and have spoken to them on several occassions but the problems continue.

Anyone with a problem with this company is urged to contact the Attorney General's Office and supply them with ANY documentation that they have recieved from this company. Additionally, any letters that are sent to the company should be sent register with confirmation of receipt and/or UPS-Fed Ex, or DHL and a CC: to the attorney general of florida.

This company is real bad news!
