Ripoff Ethically Challenged Promised Grant Funding f/NYState Which Was Not Available At The Time The Promise Was Made

Allstate Management Associates Inc. Aka ama, inc. Undertook a consulting project on behalf of my company in the Spring of 2006. The company was told that we would receive at least fifty-thousand dollars to help amortize the cost of consulting. We were told the grant was a "done-deal". When we inquired about it over a two/three month period of time, we were told that it was "in-the-works". After approximately 4 months total, we were told that the grants were no-longer-available and that we were not eligible for the funding.in the interim I had paid out more than $50,000 to this company. There was no effort made to adjust what I owed them, or help with the costs of consulting. No was there an apology.
We feel these people are unethical and wanted others to know it, too.
