Christian Company fails to pay drivers. Ripoff

My Fiance has been working for covenant transport for some time now and got the job with what he was led to beleieve was one of the best companies to work for in the U.S. A, he enjoys the work and prides himself on his ability to always arrive at least a day early and has never been late with a delievery yet.
The past few weeks he has gone to his account to find he has not been paid, so he has gone on to call the head office in Chattanooga Tennessee to find out why they failed to pay him, only to be passed from one department to the next and still getting no clear answer at the end of it, he then tried to speak to someone in accounts to discuss the matter but conveniently she was ill and not at work.
It seems to me that this company is quick enough to take the money but not as quick to pay the drivers, now to me its pretty obvious that the job has been done and the load has been delivered well within the set time and yet they claim they have no receipts etc therefore cannot pay the driver? Well all the need to do is check at the drop off location when the load was delievered, surely thats information enough, then again very conveniently they claim they dont appear to have the paperwork or receipts.
For a christian company I find the way they conduct themselves is disgusting, to allow a man to work as hard as he does and do his best to keep the good name the company has (for some unknown reason!) For them to then turn around and dismiss his requess for help as to where his hard earned money has gone.
Beware... All is not as it seems!
