On June 20, Adam xxx, sold us 2 razor phones and signed us up on a family plan. Phones were listed at $299.99 a piece with a $100.00 discount for a total of $199.99 per phone. He also sold me NCOA handset insurance on one phone for $49.95 for a total of $449.93. I asked Adam, "Are you sure this is not going to cost me a penny" and Adam responded "After the rebates you will have only paid for the insurance." Then I asked Adam if I was missing something in the fine print? Adams response was "No you are not missing anything in the fine print, its just a good promotion."

On 9/28 I mailed in first of 3 rebate forms with the understanding that I would receive two 3 month $50. Rebate checks, two 6 month $75. Checks, and two 9 month $75 checks.

Three months after submitting my first 3 month rebate form I received two $50.00 rebate checks.

On 1/24/06 I sent in the 6 month rebate form with a certified mail receipt it was signed by "Wood" on 1/27/06.

On 2/28/06 I sent in the 9 month rebate form with a certified mail receipt it was also signed by "Wood" on 3/3/06.

In answer to my 6 month $75 rebate I have received serveral different written excuses. "Duplicate submissions cannot be honored." "Your rate plan is less than $39.99/mo."
On 5/30/06 (This is eleven months after purchase) I talked to Joe at the simplywireless rebate center. We discussed the "duplicate submissions" and "$39.99 rate plan" after explaining that my family plan was over $80.00/mo and that both phones were on the same form, he apologized and said "We will mail out both rebates please allow 30 days".

8/14/06 I haven't received either of the 6 month rebate checks that Joe said he would mail.

8/14/06 today I received a card stating they could not honor my submission because "Duplicate submissions could not be honored".
So I called "Lilli" at simplywireless rebate center, employee #9187, after more than 20 minutes on the phone Lilli stated that they would mail my 6 month rebate checks. Lilli also stated that they had not received my 9 month rebate form. Lilli then asked me to fax the information to her. Lilli asked that I call her back in 10 business days to check on the status of the rebate. I faxed her the information.

8/30/06 I called simplywireless rebate center and asked to speak to Lilli employee #9187 I was connected to Faviola employee #8666. She said there was eight supervisors on a rotation schedule and that I could not talk to Lilli. Then she asked what can I help you with. After explaining the last one year and two months of failed attempts to resolve this, and feeling like I was being given the "run around" I wanted someone to "take ownership of this call" and "resolve this issue today"
Faviola, after reviewing my information told me that only one of my phones qualifies for a rebate. I told her this is the first time I had heard this and why wasn't this information given to me at the point of sale?
She told me I had to contact simplywireless.

8/30/06 I contacted Heather at simplywireless in Fairfax, VA. I asked for Tabrez she stated "Tabrez does not take calls anymore".
(I guess Chris Burk promoted this guy)
Heather said "Let me get you a supervisor" I was then sent to Kevin xxx's voicemail (this is a practice you had better get used to if you deal with these people).

I called simplywireless in Fairfax, VA back and got Brian. Brian said that he would do his best to resolve this matter today. After explaining the last one year and two months to Brian he stated that is was "policy, that each phone had to be on its own $39.99/mo rate plan". I stated that today is the first time I heard this. He said that I should go and read my contract and rebate form. He was polite.

8/30/06 I compared my contract and rebate form to the ones presently on the simplywireless.com web site and they are different. The original, the one that I received does not state anything about a seperate $39.99/mo rate plan for each phone. I have a copy of this and will attach.

*If there is nothing wrong with the old rebate form and contract why did they change it. Simplywireless owed Paul $400.00 in rebates as of 9/4/06, I have only received $100.00 and spent many many hours attempting to resolve this issue.

*If you are thinking about purchasing a product or plan from simplywireless or simplycells, I strongly advise against dealing with these scam artists.
