Won't pay for services rendered. Ripoff

We prepared some very complicated patent drawings from video files for Wegman, Hessler & Vanderburg on a rush basis to meet close deadlines. When they recieved the bill they sent us a check for half of the amount. They said they were only going to pay the amount we charged for the previous case of simple to medium drawings. We sent a letter explaining the 150 hours of labor including overtime. They didn't care about the time spent or the difficulty of the drawings, they just maintained that they were only paying half, because that was what the previous case had cost. We are a small company and have taken a considerable loss on this case. We devoted most of our drafting staff to finish this project on time for the client. I tried to make a settlement for $2200 less than what they owed and their response was "I'm not going to send you another penny". This company is dishonest, underhanded and unethical. Just because they are a law firm doesn't make them above the law.
