Prepaid Legal
Disabled, broke, and tired of the oppression! Ripoff

Shops, Products, Services

I've spent the last ten years trying to earn gainful income from home, due to permanent disability from diabetes (blindness, renal failure). This was my second inquiry into this company in as many years, since the first time around yielded poor communication results.

This time, an initial phone conversation with the PPL representative determined that proceeding with the application process was dependent on further review of policies that were NOT clearly presented online. The rep agreed to send this document for review. A business magazine and company CD was also sent of the rep's own accord.

Upon the rep's next phone call it was stated that there was no further interest in the program due to several discrepancies found. Certified emails were also sent to the rep and his sponsor, yeilding no response. A second notice was sent, and acknowledged by the sponsor, refusing to do further business.

On Aug. 16, at 9:10 PM the representative phoned me asking for the extra materials back, claiming that these materials were sent based on the assumption that the sale was made. I reminded him that the policy needed to be examined first, and I never asked for the extras. I also explained (again) that due to visual impairment these materials have since been misplaced. He replied that I should go outside where there is light, so I can see, and find the materials to send back at my cost.

Not only do the representatives of this company certainly serve as the company itself, but every mistake that these reps make reflect the company. Also, the remark made about my impairment was uncalled for, and is considered discrimitory. For those successful reps who've kept this business going a long time - remember Enron?

By the way, getting paid in advance is just another way of taking a loan.
