Ripoff

My husband and I hired Coast to Coast to help us clean up our credit. We payed $1,000, down with a balance of $300.00. They were supost to get all negative and incorrect infromation off our credit, and make settlement offers.

After three weeks, we get the bill for the remainder. My husband asked them what they have done so far, and that he wouldnt give them anymore money, untill we had some results. They told us that they would get back to us.

What we got was an email, and a letter in the mail, with six settlement offers, some of them one time deals, and a statement from Coast to Coast, stating that if we did not take these settlement offers, that they could re-make the settlements for an additional $49.00 each offer they have to re-negotiate.

This company did not consult with us, before making these one time offers to pay off or settle. They did not make sure with us that it was ok, and if we had the money to pay off the settlements that they arranged.

Needless to say, my husband was quite upset, and called one of the companys that Coast to Coast claimed to have arranged a settlement deal with, and that company told my husband that they had no record of anyone making any kind of settlement deal, and that my husband doesnt have an account with that company.

We then called Coast to Coast, and explained to them what we had discovered. There responce was to stop any more work on our account, seeing as we were not happy, and to call it done. That we did not have to pay the remaning balance.

My husband has tryed many times to talk with the president of the company, with no luck.

Do not trust this company to work for you. We beleve that they are working for and with creditors.
