Gaby M. Barrett Tax Service had all our paperwork to file our 2005 taxes since Feb. 11, we still have no taxes filed, and NO RETURNED PAPERWORK

On Feb. 11 My husband took all of ur paperwork (sadly the only copies there is) to Gaby Barrett Tax Service to file our 2005 taxes (self-employed) Had to make several calls to her and she told him to be there 04-08-06 @ 1:00 P.M. They would be ready. That would be a 4 1/2 hour trip one way. He got there and she said she was running behind because a storm knocked her power out, would have been nice to got a call from her to save a trip. To call back on Tuesday. He calls she says they will be ready 04-15-06, so before making that long trip again, he calls several times and gets no answer. He calls back that week and gets someone in her office who says there still not done, but that a extension as been filed. More unanswered calls & messages. I called IRS on 05-25-06, no extension filed. They call her and no answer. On 05-26-06 he goes back down there and her husband comes to the door and says she is there let him get her up (this is at noon) she says they will be done that week and call her. More unanswered call & messages. He goes back on 06-10-06 and sits in drive for over 2 hours and finally someone who said they where her son came out & says she is out of town. I filed a complaint with the BBB. I called the Atty down there to find out if I come down there and pay $150.00 I can have her summons to court. Now we have Lord knows how may unanswered calls, letter mailed & signed for asking her to return our paperwork, message on answering machine to return our paperwork, 4 missed days of work @ $400.00 a day plus gas money and all them miles driven, we still have no taxes filed, and NO RETURNED PAPERWORK. Really bad part is I had it broke down and totaled each month already. I have a sick Mother that I have to care for but when I can get a day away, me & $150.00 will be going down there and seeing her in court.
