Happy Tails
Discriminating and uneducated Ripoff

Being the owner of a Staffordshire bull terrier, or what some call a pit bull is not always easy. I feel that it is my responsibility to defend my breed to those who have misconceptions.
Upon picking up my dog from Happy Tails, the owner, Penny, said my dog was very well behaved, which is not surprising because he is a great dog. We have taken him to dog training classes, and he was purchased from a very reputable breeder. However, she than went on to say what an awful breed he is and that we better never have kids around our dog or he will carry and shake them by the neck. She also called my dog a pit bull, which he is not. Even though my dog did nothing wrong, she said she did not want us bringing him back, which I would not anyway. She has an obvious dislike towards bully breed dogs, and so treated my dog badly.
If I would have known she was so ignorant and uneducated about dogs, I would have never boarded my dog there. At $25 per day, which is higher than the average kennel, we expected above average service, which was not provided.
Also, her business is very unorganized and unclean. She grooms dogs in the same room in which she boards them, which is only a very small room. She also lives in this area too.
She has a very rude disposition, with people as well as with dogs. If you love your dog like I do, do not send him/her to this awful place.
