Ripoff This Invention promotion company deceived us and scammed us out of our money!

Inventors Express Services Inc. Of Augusta Maine is a huge ripoff. We joined up with their company after they kept mailing us letter after letter about what they could and would do for us.

On their website, inventorsexpress.com it states that they have over 100,000 manufacturerers in their database to send someones ideas to, to get interested responses for a licensing agreement.

In the "update" letters that they sent us, (they hvae only sent out three since 2004 when we joined) they only had 85 manufacturers listed. That is exremely misleading.

We paid them $895.00 for paper flyers, that we did most of the work on. They said that they would send these flyers to a list of companies, to get our patented product a licensing agreement. We have absolutely no proof whatsoever that any flyers were ever even sent to any manufacturers.

When we requested a refund in the vice president of marketing "Danny Switzer" asked us to give their company more time, that it takes a while to find an interested manufacturer.
We gave him more time.

In March of this year when we still hadn't heard a thing from them, I emailed several times to request a refund. They totally and completely ignored my emails. They took the attitude of "don't call us, we'll call you".

When I tried calling their (800) number, the only number they have available for customer service, they totally ignored all my calls, except to call me back and threaten me with the police that I was harassing them! Their voice machine was messed up, so I continued to try to call them. I was NOT harasssing them! I only want my money back!

They have a recorded phone tree, nobody ever answers the phone. It seems to me that's a good way to ignore customers with legitimite complaints.

The "better business bureau" of Maine was of no help. It seems that Inventors Express has them in their pocket, as they are a member. The only thing that the "bbb" did for us, was to be able to get a hold of the Inventors Express sheisters! That's about it.

Danny Switzer of Inventors express services was not even willing to give me half a refund! He flat out lied to us.in a report through the bbb, he stated that "I am not willing to give them a refund at this time". Well, I ask, when is he willing to give us our refund then?!

I would recommend that nobody ever use Inventors Express Services for any reason! They are a sham and a scam! I have never seen any services from them, whatsoever! They also hide behind their "phone tree" so they don't have to listen to legitimite complaints!

I have also gone to the National Fraud Center about Inventors Express Serivces. Hopefully, even if I never see a penny of my $895 again, it will steer people away from Inventors Express Services of Augusta, Maine. Hopefully they will go out of business. They do not deserve to be in business.

A tip to consumers: if you ever receive a patent, companies like Inventors Express Services will send you mailing after mailing after mailing, begging you to send them money, telling you how great they are and what they can do for you. Ignore them! They will do nothing for you except take your money!

Another important tip to people who read this report, even if a company is listed with the "better business bureau" don't trust it! It does not mean a thing! The "better business bureau" is not on the side of the consumer, they are on the side of the businesses!

I partly blame the "better business bureau", because Inventors Express Services is listed with them, that is the only reason I considered joining them (Inventors Express, inc)!

Look where it got us! We lost $895.00 for absolutely nothing!
