Northern Leasing - Lowlife scum suckers ripoff artist

Our saga with this company in 1996, when we pay off a miserable few months of dealing with Northern Leasing. My husband had signed up both our stores with this wonderful credit card company. As soon as they started taking out money from our accounts that we didn't authorize, we realized we were with a very shady company.

After having the bank account closed and actually moved to another bank, we send the machines and a check for $1025.00 to pay the account off, and release us from these people. Now I fast forward to and we start getting letters from Northern Leasing telling us we owe them $1025.00. Well to say the least we were shocked. Tried talking to Mr. Wieder, and you know how far that got us. Finally stopped answering phone calls, but kept getting letters, and Northern Leasing filed a judgment against us for the $1025.00. I actually found my cancelled check for the origional $1025.00, but they say we owe more. Got a local attorney to send them a letter, explaining that he couldn't imagine any court knowingly granting a judgment in July on a debt alleged to be owed on March 15th, 1996. The statute of limitations has clearly expired.

Well, you guessed it, they got their judgment, and now is listed on our credit report. I have just gotten our report, and gone in to dispute the account. I am like everyone else on this site, and really can't believe a company that is so dishonest, can still be doing business. I am with the rest of you guys, we need to stick together and get these guys put out of business. Don't know how many other people there are out there, but I found the web-site and was glad to see I wasn't alone.
