Cellphonerebates Rebate RipOff Inphonics, Inc and CellPhone Rebates should be shut down

I purchased a cell phone from Wirefly via the internet with promise of a free phone after rebates. I received my $50 rebate in a timely manner. The remaining $150 in rebate was divided between two departments. Both stated they needed to have a billing statement that was 150 days after the activation date. I submitted both rebate forms along with all of the required attachments on the 156th day. One of the rebates has been posted to the web as being in process and the other one was denied for an "invalid" billing statement.

I received a letter stating that I had to send a valid invoice within 30days of the letter date. I resubmitted the previous information along with the next month's invoice and a copy of the letter they sent. After two weeks I checked the web site and found nothing had changed so I contacted Customer service via e-mail and received a response that it takes two weeks for the web site to be updated. I waited anthoer week and replied to the e-mail. This time it actually looked promising since the e-mail stated that they just need a copy of the orginal invoice to clear up the glitch in the computer.

I faxed them the invoice requested and replied to the follow-up e-mail to verify the faxed information had been received. The response now came that the invoice is invalid and I am outside the 30 day window I had to resubmit the information. It has now been 12 weeks since the original submission and I have not received the rebate for the one in process. (10-12 week processing time) I will not give up on either one of the rebates since I have complied with all of the requirements and have kept copies of all of the correspondence. My next step is to file in small claims court and I believe I will request the maximum of $5,000 since this company is commiting fraud against all of the customers of wirefly and who knows how many countless other.
