Ripoff regarding 3 day cancellation policy

Dating Service Rip offs. Great Expectations to be specific in my case.

They gave me a real hard sell which I fell for at a very vulnerable stage in my life. The very next day after losing a whole nights sleep I changed my mind. I called first thing in the morning to see what they needed, if anything, to cancel. They told me I needed to talk to my sales person. So I had to call back. I did finally talk to her that day. She insisted I think about it overnight and that she would be available the next day to discuss it. Well guess what, she was not available. I called several times that day and she never returned my call. The following day (day 3) I talked to her. She told me I needed to talk to Ed Allen, manager of Great Expectations, Schuamburg. He was not available but would call. I asked Tracy the sales girl, if I needed to send anything in writing. She point blank told me that first I needed to talk to Ed because it was up to him. He did not call me back. I called a few times day 4 and finally contacted him. He told me it was too late. I only had days to cancel in writing. I could not beleive my ears. And I have spend the last 2 plus months trying everything I can to get my money back. After this happened I checked the BBB (to late obviously) They have an unsatisfactory rating and are not eligible as members.

People need to be made aware of business like this.
