Billing for services not received/provided

This company offers a service which will send you a particular amount of books you sign up to rent each month for a fee.

I signed up with the understanding that I would receive two books each month for my then monthly fee of $7.99 (which has since inceased). However, twice a few months passed where I did not receive a book delivery however I continued to be charged the fee.

Therefore, I felt I was paying more for services than I originally agreed to when I signed up. I questioned customer service about this and they told me that they would send me new titles on my "wish list" once the titles I had "checked out" were returned. They never once forget to charge my account for the monthly fee though! Reminders were not sent to me as a courtesy.
I have since promptly cancelled my membership and would not recommend this service. As an avid book reader this was not the only service I subscribe to and feel that there are many others where you get what you pay for. I feel that their billing practices and the service they claim to provide are not worth the money and aggravation.
